2004-Present, Consultant, Chandler, AZ
Senior Ergonomist
Consultant to ETC. Assist companies in the development and implementation of Human Factors and Ergonomics Programs. Evaluate office and industrial workstations to identify potential ergonomic-related risk factors, recommend appropriate design changes, and work with company representatives in implementing the design changes. Train management and employees on Ergonomic principles and risk factors. Conduct injury and ADA evaluations and make appropriate modifications. Evaluate the effectiveness of human interfaces to determine mental loading and develop efficient designs.

2000-2005, Intel Corporation, Chandler, AZ
Ergonomist
Support the implementation and improvement of Ergonomics Program elements. Work with managers to review injury and program health indicators. Evaluate new assembly equipment to identify potential human factors and ergonomic risk factors and recommend appropriate design changes. Participate in tool design reviews to ensure that ergonomic design criteria are met and serve as a resource for additional criteria when necessary. Perform evaluations of workstation and materials handling tasks to ensure that product changes do not increase risk to an unacceptable level. Train management and employees on Ergonomic principles and risk factors. Conduct injury and ADA evaluations and make appropriate modifications. Participate on OSHA recordkeeping team. Designed and developed an evaluation tool to assess ergonomic risk. The development included usability testing as well as developing schemes for workstation evaluation and hazard identification.
